I've got 2 more referrals! But one seems to have gone. Looks like someone signed up twice and they don't seem to like that. Ok, 7 to go.

I have my first 2 referrals! I'm pretty chuffed. I've also found out that if you sign up to the Lovefilm offer and then cancel once your account has been activated (after the 2nd email), it still counts as a referral! So you can register and then cancel the Lovefilm account the next day. So go on... help me out :)
I've also got my first DVD from LoveFilm, Layer Cake. I'm going to watch it tonight, what an exciting life I lead.
I've had some interest! No referrals yet, but it looks like 2 people are thinking about it. If you're reading this... thanks. Still no sign of any DVD yet, but I think I want ones that are too popular :P.
My Love Film Account has been ACTIVATED! So I should start getting my DVDs next week. I've had to select a few, so I don't know what I'll get. It's like Film Roulette. This means now that my 360Giveaway account has had it's offer completed. Which means I'm fully registered. Good times are just 10 referrals away!
So here's MY scam. I'm going to link to my referral from this site and if anyone who ends up reading it, probably no-one, wants to sign up, please use my referral link. I'm not asking too much. You don't HAVE to sign up. But if you do, please sign up through me. Thanks. I guess I'll post again when I get a referral or a DVD.
If you didn't get it from the description above, here's the deal...
I saw some guy selling an Xbox360 for nothing on Ebay, now I've always thought damn you're con-artist bastards. So I decided to email the guy and ask what the deal was. He told me the following...
"1)sign up
2)complete an offer (i suggest lovefilm as it is totally free. if u sign up to love film, you can wait until it says that u have completed the offer, (usally 3-4 days)then after it says that it is completed simply cancel the free trial.)
3)get your friends to do the same
hey presto you have a totally free console
thanks for your interest "
But something was nagging me. The site looked real enough, there seemed to be a fair amount of people who had mentioned them on the web. Surely if this was a big scam, I'd know about it, like the whole "President Mgumbo from Malawi want's to give you $200,000,000" scam. So I signed up. What harm can it do? (Well quite a lot if it's a big scam). It was relatively painless. I signed up to the website (that never asked for my bank details, that would have made me run a mile!) and got got the choice of a number of different offers.
I've taken up the free 6 DVD trial at LoveFilm. They seem reputable (I think they used to be Screen Select), I've had to give them my bank details, but if they are going to send me DVDs I can understand that. Their Terms and Conditions say, as long as I cancel within 3 weeks or before I receive my 6 DVDs then, hey presto, no commitment.
Have I opened a door way to hell? Am I going to get scammed within an inch of my life? I honestly don't know. I hope not.
